Position Summary
The Product Manager is a dynamic and highly collaborative role that works closely with scientific and commercial leadership to stay informed of the latest internal developments and understands the strategic roadmap of the company. This individual is responsible for developing compelling and targeted messaging to market our unique iPSC-derived cell products, deeply understanding customer needs, and managing the rollout of new product to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with scientific leadership to maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal developments and strategic roadmap. Serve as an internal integrator, fostering collaboration and synergy among all departments.
- Project Management: Manage the development of iPSC-derived cell products, from early stage research to commercialization. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to ensure that products are developed, manufactured, and launched on time and on budget. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets. Track and report on project progress to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks. Manage change requests. Ensure that products meet all regulatory requirements.
- Product Marketing: Develop engaging, clear, and evidence-based messaging to market cell products. Work with sales and business development to understand the customer needs, pain points, and journey to inform product positioning and messaging.
- Product Launch Management: Lead and manage the rollout of new product launches, ensuring cross-functional alignment and execution. Coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure smooth and successful launches.
- Content Development: Manage the creation of high-quality, scientific content such as brochures, webinars, and whitepapers.Serve as project manager for internal activities such as webinars, ensuring they are executed to high standards and in alignment with the company’s strategy.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on campaign successes, customer feedback, and market trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement for products in the market. Perform research to understand emerging markets, new product development opportunities , market sizes and segments to align internal product development.
- Industry Engagement: Eagerly pursue a deep understanding of the industry, including competitor strategies, emerging technologies, and market trends.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned in support of the company’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Biology, Biotechnology, Marketing), Master’s or Ph.D. preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of product management or marketing experience in a life sciences/biotech company. Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
