Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking a Technical Editor/Writer to join our team in support of the U.S. Air Force North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) Space Support Contract (NISSC).

Job Description:
The selected candidate will write and edit technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, technical bulletins, and technical data to ensure validation/ verification, and kit-proofing requirements have been accomplished. He or she will provide technical publication support, guidance and information to the program.

Required Skills/Experience/Certifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
Excellent communications skills
Excellent writing skills; (use of language, grammar, spelling, organizing content)
Ability to edit source data, as required, for completeness of Time Compliance Technical Order packages
Review, advise, and make recommendations on AFTO Forms 22
Experience generating PDF redlines
Must be able to work and communicate with a wide range of people at all levels
Review and analyze technical/equipment/system data for procurement packages
Must provide support to document any changes or revisions to all TOs and other documents that may be impacted by a modification or safety issue
Accurately compiles data to support the development, testing and design of new systems
Completely analyze reported problems by researching reports to effectively identify and correct problem areas
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills/Experience
Familiarity with Raytheon policies and procedures as they relate to technical writing development

Required Education
A Bachelor’s degree obtained within the past 18 months
