RK Dixon is seeking applicants for an experienced Tier 1 Support Engineer to work on its Support Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to join our expanding IT Group and gain exposure to a wide array of environments.
As a Tier 1 Support Engineer, you will be supporting end-users across our managed services client base. You will be part of our Support Services team with a focus on customer service, end-user, and desktop support. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude that enjoys working in a team environment. In this role, you will be responsible for answering and responding to incoming phone calls, emails, and ticket submissions. This position also requires the ability to identify and organize tickets to appropriately assign resources as needed while providing basic desktop/end-user support.
Experience working in a customer service position with a focus on Information Technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience working with Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Office, Desktop Hardware, Operating System deployment, wireless and networking technologies.
Excellent documentation skills for assisting in the creation and maintenance of an internal knowledge base.
Have a drive and desire to learn more about technology.
Associates degree preferred
2+ Years of experience working in the Information Technology industry.
Industry Certifications preferred (CCENT, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, etc)
