Expedia Group is looking for Global Product Manager Interns to join a few teams across our Bellevue/Seattle, San Francisco and Springfield, MO area offices. These team support different products both external facing and internal facing. While our products vary, one thing remains constant, we want bright, curious learners, who collaborate well to join our teams.
What You’ll Do:
You work with business partners to help identify and define product initiatives
You build business cases using competitive analysis, market and customer research, and loads of data
You are able to create a hypothesis for new features or enhancements
You partner with engineering to facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions, and help identify gaps in our product and our business
You understand product interaction within a business process and from an end user experience view point
Work with development teams through development cycle to ensure features developed meet the desired business goals
Liaise between product development, reporting, training and business owners to ensure clear communication, understanding of product offerings at all times and ultimate project success
Use market research, analysis and user studies to gather product requirements
You work closely with engineering and program management to drive product development
You collaborate with other product managers, analytics, operations and customer service organizations
You define, analyze and communicate business goals to inform product success
Monitor emerging technology and travel industry trends
Able to handle various tasks and projects at a time, prioritizes effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
Who You Are:
Able to work for 12 weeks between May 20 – August 9 or June 17 – Sept. 6
Currently enrolled in a 4-year university graduating December 2019 or Spring 2020
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (including but not limited to) Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Marketing, Business or Computer Science. *MBA students, please apply to R-36034
Strong collaboration and communication skills, which includes concise, clear communication that’s targeted to the right audience
You have permanent authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
Previous product management intern experience
3.0 or above minimum cumulative G.P.A
Entrepreneurial experience (starting a side project, leading a community service program, or demonstrated innovation in work or at school)
Passion for technology and user experience design patterns, and the innate curiosity and desire to learn more
Experience with Agile/SCRUM
Experience creating examples through wireframes and mockups
Travel industry and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
Your Internship Will Include:
Dedicated support from a manager and mentor for the summer

Intern Program Dates: To ensure a consistent experience, we offer two different start dates. These dates accommodate varying schools schedules.
