**CURRENT REDHAT AND SECURITY+ CERT REQUIRED**
IEM is currently in search of an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to support custom software development, testing, and software deployment to a production environment.
This person is part of a System Administration team that is responsible for system administration and software installation and support within the software development and testing environment as well as deployment and support of custom-developed software running on secure production servers at customer sites.
supporting local Linux development and test servers,
deploying software builds to test environment
troubleshooting issues with deployed test builds
deploying and supporting custom software applications to customer sites
Secondary system administration duties include performing or supporting periodic backup
archival and disaster recovery
applying and maintaining security policies and assuring compliance via patching
conducting security scan’s and verifying security auditing procedures/processes are in accordance with DoD and corporate security policies and best practices
Required Experience and Certs:
Systems Administration certification in RedHat Linux (current) - All Other Candidates without this Cert will be Disqualified
US Citizenship Required - All Other Candidates will be disqualified
Minimum of 4 years Linux system administration experience including installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing servers, test and development networks, and custom software installations
Security + training or certification.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance is required
Familiar with networking protocols, switches, storage area networking (SAN) and virtualization technologies and products.
Training and experience with NIST Cyber Security and Information Assurance (IA) policies, procedures, and requirements.
Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft Windows a plus.
