Evaluates and treats communicative and language disorders.
Performs swallowing assessment; bedside swallow and/or video fluoroscopy.
Administers audiometric screening.
Communicates evaluation result, swallowing precaution and dietary recommendation to the patient’s nurse and physician.
Provides care education and swallowing precaution/ instruction to patient and the patient’s family when appropriate.
Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and a current certificate of Clinical Competency to the American Speech and Hearing Association required.
Masters or better in Speech-Language Pathology.
