Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with the overall business goals, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
· Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes, providing accurate and timely financial insights to guide decision-making for multiple business units including marketing, case management, and overall Firm operations.
· Risk Management: Oversee risk assessment and management, implementing financial controls and strategies to mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Capital Management: Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support growth initiatives and optimize the use of financial resources.
· Investment Decisions: Evaluate potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, conducting due diligence and financial analysis to determine feasibility and value.
· Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting, preparing regular financial statements, reports, and presentations for the executive team and the board of directors.
· Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain liquidity and ensure the company's ability to meet financial obligations and strategic initiatives.
· Internal Accounting: Conduct Internal Accounting including overseeing automated and manual day-to-day accounting processes and coordinating with outside tax professionals.
· Tax Strategy: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position while complying with local and international tax regulations.
· Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.
· Negotiation and Vendor Management: Evaluate new and existing vendor relationships, including contractual agreements, and ensure the Firm is achieving value in all strategic partnerships.
· Strategic Advice: Provide data-driven insights and strategic advice to the Managing Partner on overall Firm operations and growth initiatives.
· Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with Attorney Partners, lenders, auditors, and other external stakeholders to enhance financial credibility and support business objectives.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a similar executive finance role.
· Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to align financial initiatives with business objectives.
· Strong understanding of financial markets, regulations, and industry trends.
· Exceptional financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
· Proficiency in financial management software and systems.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
· Ethical and transparent approach to financial management.
· Demonstrated track record of successful financial leadership and organizational growth.
Compensation:
The compensation for this executive-level position will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
