Cambridge International Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Manager (PM) working within the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Virtual Health Program.

This position will have an active role in assisting BUMED transform Navy Medical operations, develop and sustain Virtual Health (VH) projects, and implement business processes. The PM will support the Navy Virtual Health Program Director and Program Management Office by providing project management and lifecycle management services.

The PM will work in Falls Church, VA and should have/or can attain a PMP, an active/interim SECRET clearance and prior military experience.

The Project Manager:
Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation working in teams (military, government civilians, and/or other contractor personnel) to execute and complete projects interfacing with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services
Defines project scope and objectives
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis ensuring adherence to quality standards
Reviews project deliverables
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems

Tools Experience: Project monitoring, Requirements management, Issue tracking, Online collaboration tools, Change Management, Microsoft Project (MPP), and Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and Power Point

Required Experience

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (business, informatics, technology or related degree)
Three years’ experience as a PM experience supporting healthcare initiatives and projects
Experience managing projects in matrix organization with diverse team members including internal and external personnel, consultants, and global resources
Experience in initiating project reviews, aggregating and coordinating project reporting information into a program level report suitable for the Director of the Program Office and other Senior Executive consumption and decision-making purposes
Demonstrable experience managing projects throughout a full lifecycle (from Inception Deployment and Maintenance)
Strong organizational skills, ability to learn on the job, and possess a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Experience in negotiating project scope, further demonstrating success executing formal estimation techniques and/or metrics collection for reporting
PMP/PMI Certification, or can attain within six (6) months of being hired
US Citizen with active/interim SECRET clearance
DOD experience

Three years’ experience working in the military healthcare and telehealth environment
Clinical experience is a plus
Meets or exceeds DOD 8570 requirements for IAM-I (i.e. Security + CE)
