We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to lead groups of visitors through our Holiday Light Trolley Tour, providing engaging and informative commentary. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sharing knowledge and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Tour Guide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience by singing, providing nessary tour information, culture, and significance of the sites being visited.
Duties
- Lead groups of visitors on tours, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Provide informative commentary, sing alongs, cultural, and local significance of attractions.
- Engage with guests, to enhance their Holiday Experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure tours run smoothly and adhere to scheduled timelines.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guest participation and interaction.
- Maintain knowledge of current events and updates related to the tour locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during tours.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tours.
- Proficient public speaking abilities to engage diverse audiences confidently.
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to educate guests in an engaging manner while adapting information based on audience needs.
- Previous experience in hospitality or tourism is a plus but not required.
