We are a busy, innovative immigration firm located in Falls Church, VA seeking a bilingual paralegal to join the team. Our office consists of a team of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff. The firm’s main focus is family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, and removal defense. We strive to exceed our client’s expectations.

We are currently looking for a paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to interact with clients in Spanish and English, consult with court staff, and learn immigration law.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with attorneys to assist with case research
  • Meet with client to fill out immigration forms and gather the proper documentation
  • Call and/or email the proper government entity to request information on a client’s case
  • Draft motions and various court documents
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Prepare cases for federal/state court
  • Update the case management system

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and composure
  • Ability to work well in teams and with little supervision
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize
  • Ability to always provide top notch work
  • Flexible and highly resourceful
  • Preferred:
  • At least one year of experience in Immigration Law
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Paralegal Certification
  • Experience with INSZoom or similar case management system
