Position Description: Health Communication Specialist Senior
Summary
The Health Communication Specialist Senior leads the development and implementation of strategic information dissemination campaigns and health care communication programs. This role focuses on reaching targeted populations, particularly those impacted by HIV, to improve health outcomes through effective messaging and educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of a national information dissemination campaign targeting people with HIV.
- Develop and produce creative materials such as videos, infographics, and fact sheets to support HRSA HAB?s mission.
- Ensure all materials are culturally competent, clear, and compliant with Section 508 standards.
- Manage and update the Living History Website content and other digital resources.
- Provide qualitative evaluations and revise messaging based on feedback and strategic needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in Public Health, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in health communication and campaign management.
- Strong understanding of public health issues and communication strategies.
- Proficiency in content creation and digital media management.
