Your Role and Responsibilities
We are in search of an Alliances Manager for North America. We seek an individual with relevant experience and strong interpersonal skills to join our team. This person will become an expert on our IBM Salesforce practice and its strategy, both globally and locally, the competition, and the markets in which we compete to primarily identify new potential opportunities to team with Salesforce and its other ISV partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Developing key partner relationships and act as the single point of contact and face of the IBM Salesforce practice in region with these partners
Develop a regional plan to keep the IBM Salesforce practice top-of-mind. This includes partner communications, designing and executing sales “plays”, presenting on partner team calls, and engaging in account mapping sessions
Build and uncover sourced pipelines from partnership relationships
Work with industry and account teams from IBM and Salesforce to build plans and develop industry solutions and deploy seller enablement
Plan, forecast and track results from/with partners in region
Create and/or execute on regional and global partner go-to-market (GTM) strategy
Create opportunities in region by developing joint events and initiatives with partners
Facilitate the negotiation with legal of necessary NA partnership agreement
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated success of 10 or more years track of work experience in a partner management, and/or sales in a related role in the tech or consulting sector
Highly motivated with a proven track record of outstanding communication and presentation skills, leadership and building trusted senior relationships
Experience working with enterprise cloud & CRM technology providers – using Salesforce either as a partner or in the Salesforce ecosystem is advantageous
Strategic long-term relationship building perspective and experience
Willingness to travel as needed (25-50%)
