This role works with client facing applications in collaboration with client service staff and involves recommendations for application optimization. At least 3 years experience of knowledge with the SDLC activities expected to develop custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to all types of testing (Unit, System, Integration, Performance, Security, etc.) is required. Experience in Agile development, experience with Team Foundation Server, including entering User Stories, Bugs, Enhancements, Burndown, and working with offshore resources. Strong test management skills and a thorough understanding of testing and analysis deliverables (including UML artifacts and how they relate to the development process). Strong technology acumen and track record of hands-on implementations across multiple technologies.
Experience using modern testing tools required (ex. Quality Center, Load Runner, etc.).
Ability to translate technical data and concepts into actionable testing approaches. Strong background in implementing enterprise initiatives on a large scale.
Domain 2 works on applications that support our partners including national benefits, partner affairs, payroll and tax etc.
Currently they have a large project they are kicking off that they will be working on for an estimate of 3.5 years in total. They are working on moving away from Peoplesoft and there are several applications that need to be rewritten. (We are transitioning to WorkDay) 13 in total will need to be rewritten and there are also new applications that they are working on as well that are going into phase 2 cloud based solutions.
These applications are going to be rewritten in Angular JS/Node there is a small chance they might move to .net down the road but right now it's Angular. For testers they will need someone who can do both manual and automated testing VSTS experience would be a plus. Maybe even a small chance for some mobile testing but primarily manual and automated testing. They will be meeting with the project owner daily and should be able to communicate clearly and concisely what they are working on and they will be assigned to a specific project not working multiple at time.
