The IT Desktop & Field Services role is responsible for ensuring that company’s office systems, applications, network, telecommunications, end user devices and associated equipment run smoothly by receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Provide technical, software, hardware, and network support to our Retail and Distribution Center Locations

Responsibilities

Responsible for On Site Level II Technical Support of our Distribution Centers, Depots and Retail Locations.
This person would be the IT liaison in the field keeping IT Management updated on field issues.
Work remotely with our Infrastructure and Networking Teams to be the onsite technician to troubleshoot and remediate any on- site issues. Wireless Access and Performance, Printing Issues, Connectivity, etc
Responds to and logs requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically
Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues
Work with IT vendors on technology deployments and refreshes.
Researches problems using available information resources
Identifies and escalates situations requiring urgent attention
Tracks and routes problems and requests, and documents resolutions
Perform hands on fixes at the desk top level including installing, upgrading and troubleshooting end user hardware and software
Stays current with system information, changes, and updates
Required Qualifications

MIS Degree or 3-5 years in a Desktop Support Role
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Excellent Driving Record
Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize in a high volume environment with competing demands
Networking Experience, Desktop
Preferred Qualifications

Industry related degree is preferred
