Full Job Description
Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Systems Administrator for our client located in Montgomery, AL.
Defines procedures for monitoring and evaluates, diagnoses and establishes work plan to resolve system issues.
Performs troubleshooting for complex hardware, software and network problems.
Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.
May coach more junior technical staff.
Able to support multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity (complexity defined by database size, technology used, systems feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data.
Windows server administration: high level of technical knowledge regarding Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Database Support: SQL DBA, SSIS Packages, IIS Technical Environment: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, and SQL server with SQL database.
5+ years of IT work experience installing, deploying, and maintaining Windows servers. Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.
2+ years of experience supporting database servers.
5+ years of IT work experience installing, deploying, and maintaining Windows servers, using Microsoft applications/tools such as Systems Center (DPM, Config Manager, Op Manager, Patch Management, etc.). Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments.
2+ years of experience supporting SQL server 2012+, with experience/knowledge of data migrations to cloud services/environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
Equivalent work experience may substitute for required education.
