The Virgin Islands Housing Authority’s (VIHA) Resident Wellness & Empowerment approach promotes opportunity and independence for VIHA residents through a combination of strategic programming (onsite and virtual) and community partnerships. VIHA’s resident empowerment considers the strengths possessed by every resident while focusing on housing stability, economic development and mobility, health and wellness, and population-specific services. Grounded in best-practice research, the Assistant Director of Resident Wellness & Empowerment is responsible for working alongside the Director in the designing, directing, and evaluating an innovative, data-driven service delivery model and engaging residents, Resident Wellness & Empowerment staff, partners, and volunteers to deliver consistent, replicable, and scalable outcomes.
