JOH is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant in our Billerica, MA location.

Reporting to the Department Head, theresponsibilities of this position include multitasking demands requiring strongadministrative skills, an ability to manage time sensitive projects,understanding of manufacturers/grocer dynamics and the ability to employ gooddecision making skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrativesupport to the Department Head; supporting AE’s as needed
  • Assist in compilinginformation/presentations for budget meetings
  • Create, send and trackinvoices
  • Coordinate internaland external meetings, including booking conference rooms, ordering food andcleaning up
  • Coordinate travelarrangements including flights, cars, hotels
  • Act as a resource /liaison among departments, customers and peers
  • Calendar/itinerarymanagement
  • Maintain Rolodex inAccess database; update client lists
  • Order and maintaindepartment inventory (samples, equipment, etc.)
  • Assist witharrangements / preparation for staff meetings, trade shows, sales meetings,office personnel events, and trade functions as necessary
  • Technically assistdepartmental members as required
  • All other relatedduties as assigned
  • Abilityto meet attendance standard

  • Ability to read andcomprehend detailed instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Abilityto read and interpret documents such as principal instruction manuals, and JOHcompany procedure manuals

PERFORMANCE AND/OR EDUCATION PREREQUISITES

  • College degree preferred, 3+ years of related job experience along with excellentpeople skills.
