Each Relationship Manager is responsible for executing SAFCO?s marketing strategies in their assigned territories and generating new loan applications. Under the direction of their Regional Relationship Manager and National Sales and Marketing Manager, they work with the National Buying Center to promote the SAFCO finance program to current and potential dealer partners. The Relationship Manager regularly visits active dealerships in search of finance opportunities and continually solicits non-active dealerships to build the SAFCO dealer base. They are responsible for following up on applications and contracts to improve capture rate, and document their actions in the web-based SalesForce CRM.

Identify potential partner dealerships and communicate the benefits of SAFCO programs to them. Attend events such as dealership meetings, tent sales, and other activities to positively represent SAFCO as required.
Conduct formal presentations about SAFCO?s credit programs to potential dealer partners.
Maintain existing dealer relationships with daily review/follow-up, then document their actions using the web-based SalesForce CRM.
Gather information regarding non-active dealerships, then implement plans to develop business relationships with them.
Work with the National Sales and Marketing Manager, the Regional Relationship Managers, and the Director of Credit Operations to develop creative marketing programs to expand the Company?s business.
Create competitive analysis and research of their territory (e.g., titles, first payment defaults, gap & warranty sales, etc.), then completes reports as required.
Create reports on Book-to-Look rate, capture ratio, and other business factors in their market.
Review business development of participating dealers, then work to adjust the marketing plan as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Project Management – Position works as part of a team that receives direction from the National Sales Manager.
Computer Skills – MS Office, credit reporting and loan decision software; SalesForce.com; ability to utilize software or technical applications and systems at a basic to intermediate level, as needed.
Language Skills –Bi-lingual skills helpful but not required.

Job Knowledge – The position requires auto finance industry knowledge acquired through 5-7 years of prior job experience or education. A valid Driver’s License issued by the state in which they represent is also required.

Education/Experience

Four-year college degree, with 5 to 7 years experience in indirect automotive finance. Any equivalent combination or experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
