Description:
The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for facilitating the order process, coordinating, and reviewing orders to prepare them for fulfillment. The Sales Operations Specialist acts as the liaison for Account Managers, Patients, Purchasing Departments, Healthcare Providers, Workers Compensation entities and Personal Injury Protection entities to ensure a quality order opportunity is produced.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains positive relationships and image of RS Medical.
- Maintains knowledge of insurance/payor specific information and valid order document
requirements.
- Consistently contributes to a positive team environment.
- Reviews and resolves any issues or takes other actions that may require communication or
problem resolution with Account Managers, HCP’s, Patients, or Purchasing Departments to
prepare an order for fulfillment.
- Provides prompt, professional, attentive, empathetic, friendly, courteous, pleasant, and helpful
service to all customers, internal and external.
- Keeps immediate manager informed of any issues with Account Managers, payors, providers,
patients, or any issues that escalate or are referred to management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience / Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of six months experience working in an office
environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in using email, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experienced in working with computers, a variety of software applications and telephones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Organized, self-motivated, dependable, flexible and a problem solver.
- Strong desire to learn and succeed.
- Workers Compensation and/or Personal Injury Protection processing experience preferred.
- Ability to have a quiet workspace and flexibility to work in a home office with internet,
depending on company needs.
Physical Requirements
General office environment that will include frequent or continuous periods of talking, sitting, fingering, repetitive motions of the hands/wrists, reaching, grasping, and handling. This position also requires occasional bending, squatting, standing, and walking. Pushing, pulling lifting, and carrying of up to 10 lbs. is required on an occasional basis. Good general vision and hearing are needed.
