We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Clerk to join our team. The Deli Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train deli staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation of products
- Prepare and serve deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
- Ensure all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards are met
- Monitor sales and budget, and make recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability
- Develop and implement new menu items and promotions to attract and retain customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a deli or food service environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for food
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
