We are super excited to add a Reliability Manager to the team to support our growing fleet of Siemens Charger Locomotives!
In this awesome role, you will be responsible for developing performance indicators to monitor the allocated fleet(s) and identify opportunities to improve the fleet's reliability and performance. You will investigate and implement continuous improvement plans and provide specialist technical support to the maintenance teams.

What you will be doing:
Coordinate and implement improvement plans to enhance performance of locomotive fleet
Initiate and follow-up root cause analysis for selected failure and cost drivers to reduce non-conformance costs
Create field experience KPIs and reporting.
Provide specialist technical support to the maintenance teams and produce and manage the reliability improvement program.
Conduct technical investigations and root cause analyses as required.
Represent Siemens at the monthly contractual review meeting with the customer to present reliability and performance information.
Collaborate with customer's engineering team requiring day to day performance information.
Investigate and then negotiate with the customer to determine contractual responsibility for technical Incidents and service delays.
Produce reports for fleet performance and reliability as required by internal and external customers.
Drive the development of useful data collection systems relating to locomotive conditions, performance, and reliability.
Ensure rail safety standards are complied with and participate in safety audits as necessary.
What you bring to the table:
5- 7 Years of progressive experience as a Reliability Engineer
Bachelor's degree Mechanical or Electrical engineering or Vocational training with verifiable experience in Rolling Stock Maintenance.
Deep knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance regimes and fault-finding principles
Contract and commercial understanding
Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations CFR-49.
Demonstrated experience in the use of MS Excel and other Data Analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI
We would be impressed if you had:
Rolling stock maintenance, commissioning, or another rail-related experience
Certification as a Reliability Engineer
Experience with Tableau, Power BI Salesforce, SAP or MAXIMO
