In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Mutual Fund Accounting Department by understanding, communicating, and resolving business problems, opportunities, and needs. You will provide project leadership and assist in changes in current business processes, development of new business processes and implementation of these changes. Your work is done in order to ensure accurate and timely financial information to and on behalf of our shareholders and members of the Mutual Funds offered by Thrivent Financial.

Position Responsibilities

Perform entry-level analyst work, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating basic business systems, processes, data, and user needs
Craft, organize, and maintain documentation, providing support, and training for basic processes to provide references for users
Capture basic data to support business needs, regulatory and audit requests
Test and validate basic process changes
Work collaboratively in an Agile environment with IT individuals and business partners
Participate in refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives and daily stand-ups
Position Qualifications

Working towards a degree in Business Administration or related field or an Associate Degree in Business Analysis
Experience with Excel is useful
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Proven and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and execute on tight deadlines in a team environment.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven orientation to detail
Ability to work in the United States for an indefinite period without sponsorship
