Description

SAIC is seeking Entry-Level/Junior Targeting Officers to support an operational and analytical program for an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Targeting officers play an essential analytical role in applying methodologies, technology, and tools, to identify, extract, and analyze critical intelligence information. Targeting Officer also query, assess and analyze information, systems and data to identify information of interest; sustain and increase knowledge of complex geographic and/or functional areas or issues; develop plans and approaches to support requirements; aggregate and distill complex data, relationships, and information into succinct and effective language to inform decisions; generate supporting research and relevant products to advance projects and the production of reports; develop, sustain, evolve and apply relevant skills to projects; perform analysis and support to Sponsor personnel, to include coordination, documentation, and progress monitoring/reporting; adhere to, and incorporate relevant regulatory and policy issues in the performance of targeting duties; and use open source, GOTS, and COTS tools and capabilities to manage and manipulate information.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (or five years of relevant work experience)
And 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role in the Intelligence Community
Must have current/active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Knowledge and understanding of the Intelligence Community's operational mission
Ability to work well on a team or independently
Experience drafting intelligence products
Desired Qualifications

Experience working an operational mission
Certification in intelligence operations tradecraft
