Provide sales support as a solutions architect for OBIEE, Data Integration, EPM (Cloud and on premises) and Oracle Applications DBA services – for all of the above, this person will need to assist with project as well as managed services work.

At the highest level, the purpose of the SA is to add credibility to the sales cycle. Join sales pursuits, shortly following qualifying each opportunity, and provide subject matter expertise in ‘diagnosing’ the opportunity and ‘prescribing’ a (or multiple alternatives) solution. The SA will work with sales, practice leads, project managers and lead consultants specializing in the appropriate area for purposes of:
Determining degree of fit with Datavail for the opportunity
Ability to see beyond the issue at hand and anticipate potential barriers in the future, be a strategic partner as well as solution the issue at hand
Defining the solution to meet the technical and/or business requirements
Leveraging delivery resources to estimate the effort required to deliver the solution
Assisting Sales in the construction of the presentation and delivery of the solution to customers
Securing approval from Delivery Leads on pricing, timing and overall solution
Memorialize each successful pursuit with an SOW/MSA or Change Order that expresses the challenge, the solution / deliverables, and limiters necessary to ensure Datavail ability to complete the project within the specified timeframe, budget and scope.
Update templates for SOW’s
Maintain and update standard questions for scoping calls, RFP responses and other pursuits
Work with the RFP team to determine which RFP’s to respond to, assemble questions, assist in finalizing the response.

Extensive background (10+ Years) actively, and continuously, supporting MRR and project sales support as well as implementing solutions across this landscape of applications and databases.
Relationship management – such as engagement manager, client partner or similar role with established consulting company.
Project management experience (10+ years) with skills in estimating work, tracking progress (EVA’s) and delivering results. This role is not a PM role, but experience with successful delivery management is very important.
Background as an Oracle Apps DBA, EPM, OBIEE and Data Integration implementer is necessary to establish and maintain confidence of prospective clients as well as to build / maintain rapport with delivery organizations being served.
