AML/BSA Compliance Business System Analyst- to join our team. This position is located in the Ave's location.

Responsible for various system functions, including: Incident, change, system and project management.

Responsible to troubleshoot websites, applications, and user access issues.

Documents incident items and escalates as necessary.

Coordinates issue resolution and validation of service restored.

Assists in troubleshooting servers, transmissions, and firewall access issues.

Performs application trouble shooting, and make recommendations for improvements and changes.

Works with vendors as needed to resolve issues.

Responsible to facilitate new or enhanced change management requests and post change validations.

Schedules change controls.

Responsible to configure installed software on all environments, perform fine tuning and application documentation.

Assist with Disaster recovery testing.

Responsible for application and infrastructure monitoring, coordinates with enterprise management and business unit on assigning and updating alerts.

Coordinates report reprints and monitors job processing.

May performs project management functions as either a project manager or team member. 24 X 7 On Call responsibilities for various applications.

Other duties as assigned.


Requires a Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field and 2+ years experience in business analysis, processes, procedures, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, etc or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Working knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and systems management.

Working knowledge of department specific processes and procedures.

Requires solid analytical, organizational, trouble shooting and problem solution skills.

Ability to elicit, gather and analysis data.

Solid presentation and technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to function in a consultative role.

Ability to work with vendors.

Requires solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.

Must be able to meet deadlines.

Working knowledge of various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

Experience with Unix command line.

Working knowledge of AIX, RedHat, and Windows Server.

Ability to write and maintain scripts written in BASH, VBA, Python, and/or Perl.

Ability to read and review log files to determine the source of an issue.

Experience in writing ad-hoc reports using SQL.

Willingness to learn banking systems and AML compliance concepts.

Experience with scenario-based transaction monitoring systems (Verafin, Norkom/NetReveal, Patriot Officer).

Working knowledge of emerging machine learning technologies.
