  • Indicative Total Remuneration: $88,075 - $102,504 - Temp F/T - AHP2
  • Based in Wallaroo as part of a multidisciplinary community health team, you will contribute to the delivery of high quality dietetic services in the Yorke and Northern Region. Developing a range of primary health care services, you will provide a consultancy service to health care facilities in the area, advising on appropriate client meals, menu planning and staff education. As well as providing education and training to community health staff, you will participate in project planning and implementation support for the Healthy Living and Healthy Families Teams. You may provide outreach services within the Yorke Peninsula, working from a range of locations across the Yorke and Northern Region. You will work across the age spectrum servicing inpatients, outpatients, home care, children, adults and aged clients based on service prioritisation and eligibility criteria. As part of your role, you may contribute to the supervision of Dietetic students on clinical placement.     You must hold a recognised qualification in the Nutrition and Dietetics profession, and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. With prior experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering client-centred care, you will be capable of working independently and prioritising referrals and workload. You will have sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of community participation in health care and have the ability to apply these principles.
