The UX/UI Developer improves the client experience by driving an iterative design and validation process that bridges the gap between design and development. The UX/UI Developer improves the way that clients search and interact with large amounts of online content across our client websites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and implement scalable and reusable user experience attributes across the company's client websites, ensuring a consistent, appealing and dynamic user experience.
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Advise on roadmap of UI and UX projects based on documented user needs and business goals.
Design, build, and maintain highly reusable/scalable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.
Create designed prototypes and present ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps for internal teams and key stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:
Tertiary degree in computer science or information technology, and/or related experience
1-3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with ASP.NET / C# using Visual Studio. Proficient with cross-browser HTML and CSS programming, JavaScript, JQuery and MVC/WebForms. Skills in API, XML, XSLT, JSON.
Skills in wire-framing, design and prototype solutions. Strong working knowledge of design software, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Understanding of accessibility requirements (VPAT etc.)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience of the full web development project lifecycle, from client requirement gathering through to documentation
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines
Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments, changes to workload or design revisions mid-project based on management priorities or client requests
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, especially with stakeholders who often have limited technical/design knowledge
Ability to work with others, as well as independently with minimal supervision
Solid understanding of commercial systems development processes and the ability to be self-driven and motivated in a multidisciplinary environment
