GoodFM is aimed to the audiobook market. GoodShort brings creativity and joy to the short play world.
Our GoodShort studio located in Los Angeles USA, is looking for In House Producer to support our growing short play projects. This role requires working closely with a global team across different time zones, including America, China and Singapore.
A strong candidate should have 5+ years of production experience with deep understanding of episodic scripted content, must be familiar with production pipeline and have both high EQ and IQ, and have knowledge of Google suite, movie magic scheduling/budgeting. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus, need to have a driver’s license, willing to occasionally work overtime as needed.
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
n Participate in creative and production meetings as the Executive producer assigned, organize goals for next steps after each meeting and track production team's working progress, report to the Executive producer on a weekly basis.
n Supervise production crew as needed, make sure production always follow scripts and guidance. Check dailies, coordinate with out source producer about potential pick-ups.
n Manage production safety and privacy, oversee production's progress, make sure each show’s production will be wrapped smoothly.
n Work closely with post producer/supervisor and lead editor in post production, give feed backs on rough cut to align with the script, take guidance from the Executive producer in second cut and deliver each show as guided.
n Work as a liaison between creative team, out source producers, director, and post production team, to make sure each show can be delivered smoothly with top quality.
What You Bring to GoodShort:
n Must have a bachelor/master in film production/producing or equivalent educational background.
n Always be a team player with a "can do" Altitude.
n Be creative about issues and problems that appear in production pipeline.
n Deep understanding about episodic story telling.
n Familiar with fast peace "social media style" content.
