Answer telephone, take and deliver messages to physicians, nurses and terminology and telephone etiquette. Demonstrated ability to organize relationships with others. Must be able to apply specific departmental relating to verifying patient information, collecting payments and scheduling. Position also involves customer service, message policies rules and regulations maintaining records and forms. Establish and maintain effective correct appointment type,and prioritize work, provide referrals. Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties associated with communication standards patients. Make return oral and written instructions, interact tactfully with customers and physicians accurately Daily clinic preparation process, patient identification, patient check entering the primary care physician or referring physician and in/out, charge posting, cash. Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing next day patients and others. Report obtained medical information from patients and referring patients on required forms and obtain signature as required by policy completing next day preparation completely and timely. Disseminate messages according to practice management and patient appointment distribution, ancillary scheduling appointments by scheduling patients into the encounter forms and preparation and activities. Enter pre-visit orders and prepare new patient charts. Pick in Maestro Care of cash to be collected based on insurance plan. Identify correct patient information in Maestro Care. Verify patient demographic data. Edit Maestro arrival in the practice medical records, reports, petty cash and collections bag. File history records. Attach HIPPA/Medicare documents to the Check-in patient upon visit. Present and educate Care as needed. Accurately identify the appropriate account for patient documentation. Return medical up X-rays, office charts, mesheets, ancillary reports and all other required patient record and procedure. Completes all Maestro Care check-in files and manage all appropriate alerts. Collect and post co-payments andbalances on accounts due. Imprint all patient sp ecific chart documentsand requisition/transmittaldocuments. Copy, file a nd distribute insurance cards as indicated byprocedure. Coordinate alll abs/procedures as requested. Maintain private physician office charts.Prepare encounter forms. Investigate and account for missing encounter forms . Audit encounter forms for completeness and accuracy before accuracy before batching. Batches encounter forms or charge posting scheduling tests and procedures.
Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education.
Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and activities. providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectively coordinating multiple tasks or activities.
