Job Description & Essential Responsibilities
Maintain Database of External Contacts
Building and managing project budgets to ensure financial responsibility and profitability
Work closely with clients, outside vendors and internal team on large scale projects to support overall production and lead select elements of a project
Manage and execute smaller projects as primary producer
Manage project timelines and develop executable plans, including production schedules
Oversee operations onsite and direct staff, coordinating technical, design, and production teams
Contracting and overseeing venues, audio visual, catering, talent, technical staff and other vendors, including the responsibility of negotiating contracts, executing financial agreements as well as directing and managing 3rd party vendors onsite
Oversee all production and technical aspects of events
This is a high-pressure job with long hours and must be someone who can roll up their sleeves and give 100% day in and day out – flexibility in personal schedule is a must (including Holidays and Weekends)

College degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum three years event production required
Strong project management skills
Hospitality experience in a luxury hotel property a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications required, with a special emphasis on Excel,
Fully proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
Any proficiency in SketchUp a plus.
Any background or interest in design a plus
Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
Ability to cultivate relationships with key staff
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written comprehension and communication skills
Pays attention to multiple details and multiple tasks while minimizing errors
Demonstrates ability to work on a team and willingness to give assistance to co-workers in all areas
Ability to both lead teams and act as support to other senior staff members
Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time
Must be able to maintain utmost confidentiality
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
