Applicants must become residents of the City of Pittsburgh prior to employment and remain a resident throughout employment.
Must obtain CPR, First Aid Certificate within six (6) months of hire date and maintain throughout employment.
A current, valid Class C Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Operator's License would be needed to operate a City vehicle but is not necessary for the position.

WORK EXPERIENCE: The application must clearly show three (3) years of full-time experience in Program Administration, with a focus on advocacy for boys and men of color. A clear understanding of county, city and non-governmental shared responsibilities specific to the goals and framework of the My Brother's Keeper objectives is preferred. (Full-time is defined as 32 hours or more per week. Less than full-time experience will be calculated on a pro-rated basis.)
EDUCATION/TRAINING: The application must clearly show a Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited institution in Program Administration, Community/Human Development, Sociology, Public Health or a related field. (See NOTE under the General Application Requirements Section above regarding the verification of education/training).
EQUIVALENCY: Education/training and/or work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis if the application clearly shows the required number of years to meet the Total Qualifying Requirement for this position (based on the sum of work experience and education/training listed above). The Total Qualifying Requirement is seven (7) years. (See NOTE under the General Application Requirements Section above regarding the verification of education/training).

Partners with communities and subject matter experts to create and disseminate playbooks to systematize what works based on pilot strategy.
Creates plans for the execution of initial community entry and resource deployment (e.g., community leads, funding, technical assistance).
Partners with local community partners to implement detailed action plans informed by community needs and goals.
Supports the Manager and collaborates with learning and evaluation colleagues to build a system for monitoring, evaluation and tracking metrics against grant agreement.

Oversees public-private collective impact efforts involving common goals, shared responsibilities and measurements.
Supports community based strategies to expand opportunities.

Works collaboratively with the Mayor's Office, Citiparks, Allegheny County, Philanthropy and other stakeholders to identify partners and develop partnership agreements and scopes of work as necessary.
Supports the selection process for and manages relationships with additional MBK partners.
Speaks on behalf of MBK at partner convening and relevant thought leadership forums and manages relationships with community leaders and key partners.
Assists in proposing and drafting local, state and federal policies relating to the betterment of Men and Boys of Color, under the direction of the Mayor's Office, Allegheny County, Philanthropy and other stakeholders
Performs other related tasks and duties that are assigned and/or required.
