Our continued growth requires the addition of a talented and highly motivated Systems Administrator III to join the Information Technology team as we provide infrastructure services to meet business requirements.

This position reports to the Manager of Infrastructure and will be focused on the daily operations of IT infrastructure services. The individual in this role will work with various teams in IT as well as other departments. They must quickly adapt to new technologies, have experience working in a team environment, be a self-starter and top-tier experience providing administration of business-critical applications and physical infrastructure. Extensive experience with on-premises and cloud hosted services is a must. The candidate should be detail-oriented and possess the ability to design, plan, implement, and document infrastructure solutions adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
Provides escalated support for users and other IT teams using a centralized ticketing system
Effectively communicates with users and IT teams providing statuses, requests for information, and planning as needed
Effectively documents and tracks all infrastructure services including topology, configurations, and issues that are related to responsibilities
Manages work items and projects in Visual Studio Team Services Online or similar Agile project management platform
Prepares technical reports for a wide variety of IT requirements
Participates in planning and implementation of new IT solutions across a wide-range of technologies, including cost analysis and effectiveness, to meet business requirements
Provides in-depth infrastructure designs and suggestions for new and existing technologies in both on-premises and hosted environments
Assists with design and maintenance of messaging platforms such as Exchange, Exchange Online, and Skype for Business including endpoints/peripherals
Provides administration of backup and recovery using multiple on-premises and hosted platforms
Daily health monitoring and remediation
Upgrade software and hardware as needed including storage/networking infrastructure related to backup topology
Verification of backup and recovery goals with regular reporting
Manages health, handling, and procurement of all backup media
Performs daily system monitoring of infrastructure
Verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, applications, and business-critical processes
Monitoring across multiple sites and datacenters including hosted infrastructure
Develops and maintains automation solutions as needed using appropriate tools
Provides administration of System Center Configuration Manager
Full understanding of SCCM including troubleshooting and provisioning of new hardware and site services
Create and manage packages, applications, collections, deployments, and maintenance windows as needed
Maintain software update infrastructure to workstation and server endpoints
Maintain asset inventory and provide reports for asset information as needed
Remediation of non-compliant clients
Experience with Microsoft InTune in a hybrid configuration is a plus
Monitor and maintain Antivirus/Antimalware systems across all endpoints
Monitor and maintain enterprise email security platform
Assists with management and maintenance of infrastructure security including identity, network, servers, workstations, and mobile devices
Manage SQL databases pertaining to infrastructure solutions as needed
Provides administration for identity management platforms and reverse proxy configurations on both on-premises and hosted environments
Performs regular maintenance to directory services across several platforms including AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS and file services, print services, etc including creation and modification of these services

Must have high school diploma or GED

A technical degree is preferred

A minimum of 5 years in an IT Systems Administrator role

A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience with the following:

Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 – 2016

Directory services such as AD/DNS/DHCP

Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online

Enterprise email security

System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

System Center Service Manager (SCSM)

System Center Orchestrator (SCSM) or similar automation platform such as Jenkins

System Center Virtual Machine Manager

Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 – 2016

Office 365 services

Administrative experience with Microsoft Azure including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and integration

Proficiency with Windows Powershell required

Experience working in Linux environments is a plus
