The Senior Director, Content Marketing, CVS Health Business Solutions will lead the content strategy for CVS Health Business Solutions for Payors and Providers. The ideal candidate is someone who thinks like a publisher/journalist and is a digitally-savvy content professional who is an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, segmentation, analytics and meaningful measurement. This is a broad ranging and high impact role that collaborates with product, marketing, sales, corporate communications, customer insights and competitive intelligence and the executive team to develop and execute a content strategy in support of our business objectives. This individual has a mix of strategic skills, the ability to create unique and differentiating content types, use data to shape content decisions, operating excellence, and the know-how to implement end to end processes to maximize content engagement outcomes.
This individual will need to have an incredible passion and desire to lead, inspire, and evolve a content strategy vision for CVS Health’s business solutions. This leader must be a highly effective and inspiring and will be responsible for a team of content strategists and content creators, demand generation and marketing automation experts and production managers and data analysts, including manage outside agency partners and freelancers.
This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer of CVS Caremark and CVS Specialty.
Ultimately, the role of the Senior Director, Content Strategy is to think like a publisher/journalist, lead the development of content initiatives in all forms and to drive new and current business. This includes:
- Content Strategy Definition and Articulation
- Content Strategy & Creation Team Management
- Demand Generation Strategy and Execution
- Content Creation Publishing
- Data Analytics and Insights
Your ability to coach and inspire teams of content creators to enhance company’s profile, build audience engagement, and influence client and prospect behavior will help CVS Health Maintain our position as a leader in the PBM Marketplace.
This role can be remote, but will require some travel to our Woonsocket, RI headquarters and our Northbrook, IL hub.
- 15+ years of demonstrated B2B marketing experience, managing interdisciplinary content teams, within a technology, professional services, or healthcare industry
- 6 or more years of experience managing and leading teams for multi-channel content creation
- At least 5 years managing content creation and marketing across a diverse set of B2B audiences
- PBM or Healthcare Experience
Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent work experience may substitute.
Master's degree is preferred.
