We are looking for a VP of Talent, Development and Diversity reporting to the Chief HR Officer (CHRO) to proactively drive our talent and diversity strategy.
Coordinate the Recruiting, Learning & Development and DE&I function globally, leading the teams and ensuring that aligned initiatives advance our mission and culture and drive organizational and employee effectiveness and efficiency
Provide thought leadership and research to identify and design global recruiting, management and learning strategies to meet our leadership needs. Responsible for the creation, design, development and assessment of programs. This will be accomplished through building partnerships in HR and with business leaders and by gaining a deep understanding of our business
Ensure we have an outstanding internal and external recruiting strategy that focuses on building diverse highly performing teams. Be aware and opportunistic of the external diverse talent pipeline for entry to senior level positions. Partner with key schools and third-party organizations to continually improve our ability to attract diverse talent pools. Enhance our internal career development initiatives and mobility opportunities
Lead the Learning and Development team to focus on strategies for onboarding, skills development, manager development executed via new and innovative e-learning methods
Assess, identify and implement learning and growth programs to ensure the development of highly performing and engaged team members
Facilitate the performance management cycle by creating state of the art connected tools for managers to accelerate the growth of employees
Create tools, resources, and education to enable the successful execution of a talent process including a global firm-wide framework. Identify effective processes to accurately assess talent and readiness of high potential employees. Determine programs to support development of these team members
Ensure we integrate a diverse, equitable and inclusive approach to all our HR processes. Focus on moving our diversity strategy forward in the following three areas:
Employee Engagement – Foster a culture that accepts and enables all employees as they bring their authentic selves to work, thereby encouraging them to further share their experiences, perspectives, feedback and ideas. Partner with the Business Resource Groups (BRGs) as they evolve and work towards sponsoring programs, dialogue and learning opportunities for our employees
Talent Development – Focus on developing best in class strategies to recruit, develop and retain diverse talent through refreshed recruiting and talent processes. Enhance our talent optimization efforts with improved processes, tools and training
Community – Purposely build upon our community-based, educational and corporate partnerships
Develop productivity metrics to ensure optimization of recruiting, talent and development programs
Use our cloud-based technology to evolve the tools and resources vital to an optimal manager and employee experience
A Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred
Minimum 15 plus years of human resources experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Diversity or senior level HR Business Partner roles; management/supervisory experience is a must
Experience anticipating and understanding business needs and objectives and taking the initiative to drive valuable, effective and aligned strategies and solutions
Highly tech proficient in integrated cloud-based HR systems, e-learning, talent technology and recruiting systems a plus; ability to work with technology professionals to build cutting edge tools that optimize productivity
Experience developing, executing and measuring training/career development programs
History of successfully influencing others
Experience leading large cross-functional project teams from scoping phase to project implementation
Continuous self -development and professional networking to stay on top of emerging and progressive ideas and practices
Ability to analyze and quickly use data for storytelling and measuring return on investment of programs and processes
Ability to toggle between strategic and tactical with a willingness to “roll up their sleeves”
