Researching and organizing all applicable information related to SSVPO’s meeting to ensure SSVPO is prepared, has all necessary documentation in hand, and can execute his standpoint without any unforeseen arguments or disputes

Maintaining electronic and hard copy of current rig values for insurance purposes, as well as individual operator insurance certifications guaranteeing conformance with Ensign recommended practices
Executive Assistant to SVPO
Organizing and maintaining schedule and daily itinerary for SSVPO, including filtering all email correspondence for SSVPO to ensure no items are overlooked, all issues are addressed, and SVPO has knowledge of all activity within company. Also consists of emailing operators and company executives on SVPO’s behalf, at times drafting emails for SVPO to send personally. Also includes booking flight, vehicle, and hotel reservations for business travel, providing addresses, maps, and directions to meetings, along with offering traffic reports and alternate routes to ensure punctuality of SVPO. In SVPO’s leave, duties consist of handling all phone calls, responding to emails on SVPO’s behalf, and informing SVPO of company action. Also includes researching and organizing all pertinent information for SVPO to have on hand for better work process and efficiency when dealing with operators, potential clients, vendors, Ensign personnel, and meeting preparation. Further includes knowledge of SVPO’s integrity and values to ensure that company adheres to similar principles and performs on a level that exceeds the industry average and reflects SVPO and Ensign’s reputation in an affirmative manner
Maintaining record of all SVPO expenditures and receipts for submission to billing department for SVPO reimbursement of company expenses. This includes SVPO direct expenses, as well as company expenses for training, marketing, and event coordination purposes. Efficiency in this matter ensures timely compensation for SVPO, guaranteeing SVPO is capable of issuing credit card payment on time and in full, therefore eliminating late fees or penalty to credit status, which could and would hinder SVPO’s assumption of duties to entertain clientele and project a positive company image.
Performance and Bonus Letters
Maintaining and tracking all rig performance and/or bonus letters issued by operators. Letters have proven crucial in times of humble rig performance in exhibiting past abilities and operator acknowledgment of rig’s potential. Management of bonus letters includes collecting rig personnel list and re-billable authorization slip from rig to submit to accounting department for proper billing of operator to ensure rig crew is rewarded appropriately.
Rig Move Report
Managing and up keeping Excel file and individual folders with all rig moves to reflect rig crew performance, trucking company abilities, potential marketing points of sale, and areas that may need improvement or assistance.
Acquiring and soliciting trucking company bids to move rigs from one location to another. Includes knowledge of rig size and equipment, location, past performance records, and tracking and filing all bids for future reference.
Administrative duties including copying, scanning, faxing, filing, typing, running errands, organizing mail, creating reports, researching related topics, correlating data, recording minutes from meetings, and presenting supporting documentation

Maintaining Excel spreadsheet of individual rig visits for rig managers, area managers, superintendents, SVPO, and maintenance supervisors for operations records and submission to accounting department to confirm employee mileage reimbursement accuracy.
Adhering to strict confidentiality in regards to SVPO activity, email correspondence, SVPO’s personal information and credit card number, operator criticisms, meeting discussions, financial reports and standings, employee performance and assessment, document accessibility, contracts, billing rates, and other Ensign entities’ activity and performance
Corresponding with numerous and various individuals on SVPO’s behalf. This includes contacting executives from Ensign and premier operating companies with the perceived notion of representing the SVPO and company in a professional and distinguished manner. Knowledge is necessary of Ensign business practices and reputation, SVPO’s values and standards, as well as SVPO’s intent and anticipated outcome. Proper email composition and phone etiquette is obligatory, as well as knowledge of information related to the subject, which often requires research and confirmation from the appropriate parties.
Acting as a delegate on behalf of the SVPO for various committees and subcommittees throughout Ensign. Knowledge - Oil and Gas Experience preferred
- Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
