Bilingual Litigation Paralegal
Job Overview:
Join our team as a Litigation Paralegal in a dynamic law firm that fights for the rights of low-wage workers in California. As a paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with various legal tasks related to employee rights litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely in California.
About us
If you’re a California paralegal who isn’t afraid to take on powerful corporations that deny the labor protections and civil rights of their low-wage workers, this is the job for you.
We are a boutique law firm that prosecutes individual lawsuits and class actions on behalf of employees when their rights are violated. We litigate a wide variety of claims on behalf of the victims of workplace misconduct including:
· Wrongful termination of employment
· Constructive discharge
· Sexual harassment
· Racial discrimination
· Failure to accommodate disabilities and religious practices
· Whistleblower retaliation
· Unpaid overtime and doubletime
· Unprovided meal and rest breaks
· Invasion of privacy rights
· Family and medical leave interference
· OSHA
· Defamation
· Unreimbursed expenses
· Private attorney general
We focus exclusively on employee rights litigation. We seek monetary compensation for everyday people who lack the resources to fight court battles against well-financed employers and large corporations.
If we take a case, we advance all the necessary legal fees and costs so our client can pursue the remedies they deserve… and we won’t take a penny from the client until the case is settled or won.
It doesn’t matter to us where in California our client resides. We fight for aggrieved workers all over the State of California. To make the lawsuit convenient for our client, we will prosecute our client's claims in a court for the city or county they worked in.
If a client has a strong case, we’ll get the client results. Our lawyers have obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for our clients.
