The Director of Patient Care Services is responsible for establishing, implementing, and evaluating the organization's clinical services to meet and promote standards of quality and contribute to the organization's mission and goals in compliance with organization policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee hospice departments (clinical and/or non-clinical) as determined by the COO.
- Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical personnel.
- Provide guidance and counseling to team leaders/site manager/other supervisors to assist them in continually improving all aspects of hospice and palliative care services provided through agency personnel.
- Assist clinical managers in managing hospice and palliative care teams and planning.
- Analyze operational indicators to identify census changes and increases or decreases in volume that could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses and recommend and implement as appropriate.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of 3 years' experience within the last 5 years in a hospice or home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
- Or Associate's degree (ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of 4 years' experience within the last 5 years in a hospice or home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Current license as a registered professional nurse in the State of California, BSN preferred.
- CHPN and/or PHN certification preferred.
- Current California Driver's License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Pay Range:
$85K - $180K annually
