Full Job Description
The Sensor Support Assembler is responsible for the processing of the various items required by all sensor operations for both core and OEM analyzers. Items such as properly labeled sensor clips, cuvettes, septum assemblies, glass preparation and consumable items used in the process. Under the general supervision, this person will perform routine and complex assembly operations. Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. Required to manufacture only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules. Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Ability to work with various epoxies, solvents and chemicals as required during assembly. Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product yields. Must have the ability to set up and operate a variety of production equipment such as ultrasonic welders, leak testers, hot stamp equipment, lapping wheels and heat sealers. Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related process documentation is required.
Qualifications: High School/Trade School educated with good math and communication skills. 2-4 years of experience working with glass a plus. HAZCOM Training; Chemical Hygiene Training; Right to Know; QSR/ISO Regulations; AP, TP, OI and OP training specific to area of responsibility. Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm
