The Production Planner will be based in Austin, TX . Responsible for production planning, shop floor scheduling and labor / capacity planning. Participates / leads continuous improvement activities of diverse scope and complexity to improve the efficiency of systems and processes. Seeks out and implements new tools and demonstrates successful application of new methodologies.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

Plans, schedules, coordinate and approve release of production orders based on material and capacity availability.
Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
Develops, selects and/or customizes continues improvement methods to effectively implement lean manufacturing for production and business process.
Understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts and develop time standards.
Analyzes customer demand information, forecasts, orders, machine, labor and material availability
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

BS in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
BA in Business (Finance)
Production planning experience in manufacturing
Materials Planning / Buyer and / or Logistics background
MS Office, Access Database and ERP Systems.
Prefer someone with Baan experience and Flex Flow if possible
Excellent communication skills
