Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Recommend products based on customer requirements
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Supervise and train junior staff members
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Demonstrate proficiency in retail math calculations
- Ensure compliance with POS procedures
Experience
Required:
- Proven experience in sales and customer service
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience in supervising or training staff
- Knowledge of phone etiquette in a retail setting
