HSMC provides shared business and consulting services to both non-profit and proprietary Human Services Agencies. These services include accounting, payroll, third-party billing and collections; human resources; online and live Continuing Education; marketing; facility development; and quality assurance programs.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Office Assistant!
Job Responsibilities include:
Providing support for management staff as assigned and receptionist duties including telephone coverage
Copying, collating, and any special projects and documentation as requested
Orders, unpacks and takes inventory of all supplies as well as keeping a current receiving log and matching invoices to open Purchase Orders and Packing Slips
Assisting Accounts Payable and Receivable as needed (filing, mailings tracking etc.)
Errands as necessary (requiring use of personal vehicle)
Responsible for tracking, auditing and maintaining the maintenance telephone logs.
Provides assistance to individuals with disabilities requiring assistance for program access (physical and communication access)
Two years experience with general secretarial and administrative functions
Must be a positive, self-reliant team player with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem resolution skills
Must have ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and to meet deadlines
Experience in a multi-site organization engaged in Human Services is highly desired
Ability to effectively interact successfully within a diverse employee population
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
Must have a valid driver’s license
