The group requires a Senior Electrical Engineer with “heavy” industrial experience. The experience must be in the food processing, films, fibers, plastics, paper, specialty chemicals, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, power, metals, wastewater treatment, and discrete manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, a team player and will possess an uncompromised commitment to quality. They must bring an entrepreneurial spirit, good past job stability, and success in previous electrical engineering roles that required extensive fieldwork in the desired industries.

You will need to visit client facilities and have positive interactions with the client. You will conduct P&ID walk-downs and make annotations. You will need to be able to use your technical training and think on your feet, recognize a client need and offer a solution. You will develop project estimates and collaborate with other disciplines on your team.

Most of the supported manufacturing facilities are located in the Eastern USA.


  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Stable work history
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (BSEE or BSEET) from an ABET accredited institution
  • 5 years of heavy industrial experience in the above industries and at companies on ENR’s top Engineering and Design firm list
  • Experience in project management, oversight of designers and checking drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot in the field, deal with “day to day” issues at the client site as well as meeting key project milestones
  • Significant experience with retrofits versus new construction
  • Comfortable in an environment where work is checked by peers
  • Proven skills in Windows, Microsoft Office, and MS Project
  • Extensive experience in the following electrical engineering duties:
  • power distribution
  • machine control design
  • instrument and control design, and programming (PLC, PC, MMI, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements

  • PE license
  • AutoCAD expertise
  • MS Project expertise
  • Experience in a chemical processing environment
