We are looking for a new trainer consultant to join our team as an Independent Contractor to do in-the-field ophthalmic clinical training. This job involves extensive travel (typically 2-3 weeks per month).

We train according to Best Practices according to the AAO and IJCAHPO and our curriculum is peer reviewed. Our focus is on in-office ophthalmic clinical training including new hire training, equipment training, skills assessments, intermediate and advanced training for experienced technicians and more.
You would not need to create content, but learn to teach our already-created curriculum according to our standards and methods. We provide training and support for the right candidate.
Qualifications: * Active IJCAHPO COMT Certification or an actively certified COT who is eligible to take the COMT exam within 6 months (a MUST)
* Possess the ability to travel for a week or more at a time (typically 2-3 weeks per month year round except for during the end of year holidays)
* Must be punctual and wholly dependable
* The ability to maintain a high level of professional appearance and dress
* Be flexible in the field according to clients' requests
* Possess superb ophthalmic clinical, training and communication skills
* Be able to interact and communicate with physicians, managers and clinical staff in an effective, professional and positive manner
* Possess proven experience training ophthalmic medical personnel
* Be willing to teach according to Eye Tech Training established curriculum
* Possess the ability to be flexible should the client have a special request for training
