As Director of the CTO Office for Intel’s Programmable Solutions Group, the successful candidate will drive research initiatives leading to innovation in PSG’s future roadmap, be the primary voice of the division conveying technology thought leadership within Intel and externally in the industry, and nurture the senior technical individual contributor community within the division. This includes identifying key research focus areas, securing funding and investment from the division, other Intel groups, and external entities for these research initiatives and managing those initiatives to a successful conclusion. A key part of the role is to attract, manage and retain key senior technical contributors executing these projects. The CTO will also have excellent communication skills, present papers and serve as a keynote speaker at external industry events and conferences. The candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and have an ability to mentor senior technical individual contributors and encourage the divisions’ senior engineers to collaborate and influence the technology direction of other Intel groups.
The candidate should possess a BSEE or higher degree and have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry.
10+ Year of strong technical background (working knowledge of FPGAs is preferred) combined with technical management experience is required.
