Our Opportunity:
The Benefits Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for independently and proactively reconciling all benefit plans monthly, verifying whom we have not collected monthly premiums from. Then reconciling client-sponsored plans. Generating adjustments to send to the assigned payroll rep and notifying the Benefit Specialist. The Benefits Reconciliation Specialist will work alongside the Benefits and Payroll team to ensure the timely collection of premiums. This role requires a deep understanding of our system and how it operates to ensure premiums are taken as expected.
What You'll Do:

Reconcile master plans and client-sponsored plans monthly to ensure collection of monthly premiums from employers and employees.
- Reconcile master plan enrollment to the carrier bill to ensure the accuracy of billing.
- Create and submit adjustments to the payroll team while also notifying the benefit team.
- Utilize company software to manage projects and track performance (OneDrive, Monday).

Evaluate future benefit reconciliation tools and software.

Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends.

Other Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience

4+ years' experience in an Employee Benefits related position

PEO/ASO experience a plus

Strong knowledge and understanding of the CA small group marketplace

Advanced skills in Excel

Experience with iSolved HRIS a plus.
