Position Summary...

What you'll do...
Oversees packaging projects for Walmart's Private Brand portfolio by collaborating with business partners (Merchants, Product Development, Brand Team, Sourcing) to support packaging needs; ensuring SBU/Category specific packaging project plans and milestones are adhered to; ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders; reviews and approves packaging proofs to ensure standards are adhered to; and communicates/facilitates the negotiations of packaging changes between internal and external teams.

Socializes and facilitates the strategy for packaging project management within Walmart Private Brands by communicating packaging standards and process expectations across the company; identifying customer and operational needs and customizing processes to reflect requirements; providing guidance and direction on existing processes and implementation; modifying existing processes to monitor obligations, risk mitigation plans, procedures, and long term strategy; identifying performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting performance accordingly to meet set standards; reviewing and prioritizing enhancement requests; providing support to suppliers regarding process adherence; evaluating effectiveness of current processes and identify areas of opportunity; and coordinating the implementation, communication, and training on new or changing processes.

Serves as liaison between packaging suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance to established processes by building partnerships with packaging suppliers, designers and 3rd party agencies; working with Senior Leadership to socialize and solve issues related to process adherence and supplier performance; creating synergies across teams; collaborating with internal and external partners to facilitate a smooth project workflow between cross-functional teams; and implementing packaging project plans.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Design, Marketing or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, design, marketing, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in project management, design, marketing, or related area. 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office.
