The Telemetry Nurse Manager will be the Chief Retention Officer for the department and be responsible for all hiring, firing, counseling and coaching of nursing, tech and administrative staff in the unit. The Telemetry Nurse Manager will also have budgetary oversight, be responsible for policy and procedure development and develop and implement Performance and Quality Initiatives.
The Telemetry Nurse Manager will report to a Nursing Director and has the opportunity to participate on committees, work on hospital-wide initiatives and initiate new programs in the unit. This position is a true leadership role, overseeing a large unit and with the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a responsive and supportive health system.
