Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The position responsibilities of this Supply Chain Analyst include:
This position is responsible for daily replenishment planning and management for product deployment from the GLC to Cardinal DCs, as well as managing replenishments for Canada, Puerto Rico, Customer Direct and Cross Dock orders. This role works closely with the Load Planner, GLC, Transportation, 3PL, and Carriers to ensure the daily deployment plan is carried through. This person is responsible for maintaining inventory levels in the network for over 4,000+ SKUs.
Plan and execute daily product distribution using the following systems: Production and Distribution Planning tool (PDP), Transportation Warehouse Optimization (TWO), LEAN logistics, WMS and JDE systems.
Determine finished good inventory levels based upon inventory strategies and business rules.
Monitor code level inventory at the GLC and the Cardinal network to meet service targets and business level objectives.
Manage the deployment of short supply product to ensure quick recovery of inventory position in the network.
Manage inbound and outbound deployments in 3PL facilities as required.
Partner with planning and replenishment center to better understand forecast and determine appropriate distribution plans.
Ensure replenishment load trailers are fully utilized based upon freight requirements by manually managing product deployment.
Interact with Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales departments in regards to product EDAVs to minimize expedited shipping cost and customer impact.
Work with Load Planner to develop shipping schedules for replenishment loads to optimize truck load replenishment and meet service targets.
Work with the Transportation and Logistics departments to minimize freight and handling costs based on business requirements.
Prepare daily paperwork for warehouse to use in cross dock unloading process.
Develop shipping schedules for Customer direct and replenishment loads, using LEAN and TWO to better optimize truck load replenishment.
Monitor and optimize available warehouse space for cross dock, Cardinal, and Customer Direct locations.
Coordinate with cross dock vendor and logistics service team to ensure delivery requirements are met based upon replenishment center shipping schedule.
Obtain ETA’s and POD’s from carriers as requested by cross dock vendors.
Reconcile cross dock inventory.
Work with cross dock vendors, GLC, or Cardinal to process exceptions and special requests.
Process and ship vendors’ sales orders requests for shipping materials purchased from Baxter.
Monthly reporting and invoicing for all cross dock product shipped through the GLC’s.
Quarterly balance the number of loads per day out of warehouse.
Assist in routing maintenance with input from carriers and transportation, logistics team.
Work with Cardinal on any overdue purchase order lines. To ensure it has been received in full, partial or shortage so the financials are closed out correctly.
Manage replenishments for Canada and Puerto Rico.
Partner with planning, forecasting, and replenishment center to better understand demand and determine appropriate distribution plans for export orders.
Assist in the global distribution of product lines by working with BEC and provide support.
Manage product conversion, new product launch into the distribution network.
Position may also participate in projects as SME as needed.
May also be involved with identifying and developing systems and/or applications in conjunction with IT to aid in the reporting and processing of data. Will also act as a Back-up for Load Planner position.
Education & Requirements include

Must have a general understanding of the business and strategic plan.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel) required. Ability to produce results with minimal supervision.
