As a Trading Operations Specialist , you will be on the front line of our Brokerage Operations Team and will work with many key players throughout the organization. This vital role is accountable for supporting Brokerage trading as well as providing assistance to the sales, service and processing reps interacting with Brokerage clients.
In this important role, you will have the opportunity to:
Ensure our company and clients are protected through regulatory adherence and risk mitigation
Take ownership of critical business functions by monitoring controls
Provide quality trade execution, transaction accuracy and positive client interactions
Proactively represent Brokerage on company and department initiatives to ensure Brokerage clients and staff needs are met
Ensure online resources and training is accurate and updated timely

Have a desire to understand and articulate industry regulations detailed by FINRA, the SEC and other regulatory bodies
Have a history of building positive relationships with business partners, including compliance, legal, and Risk and Fraud
Trade approvals, research and corrections
Review and processing of trade and operational reports
Precious metals trading operations and billing processes
Selling agreement acquisition and business contact
Principal review of new accounts and client written communication
Review and interpret clearing firm and regulatory requirements
Policy and procedure updates and communication
Support and conduct training for new brokerage representatives
Assist Client and Processing Specialists with complex issues
Provide project support
Brokerage Dealer License (7)
General Principal License (24) – Or required to acquire
Options Principal (4) – As business need arises
Municipal Principal (52/53) – As business need arises
Bachelor’s or any equivalent combination of education and work experience
Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Using multiple computer applications simultaneously
Experience and proficient with Microsoft Office products
Strong research skills, knowledge of policy/procedure, the ability to utilize online resources
Excellent time management skills and able to handle several priorities
Experience with SS&C and Pershing platforms preferred
