The Rehabilitation Program Manager is responsible for the overall planning, development and administration of the designated Rehabilitation Program. These responsibilities include planning, organizing, coordinating, and serving as an administrative liaison between the program and the Rehab Leadership Team.
The Rehabilitation Program Manager is responsible for the clinical direction and functioning of the designated Rehabilitation Program in conjunction with the attending physician(s).
The Program Manager appropriately communicates with the Administrator of Rehabilitation Programs to assure the smooth ongoing integration and functioning of the designated Rehabilitation Program with other Rehab programs and Rehab departments, larger policies of the Regional Rehabilitation Center and with Vidant Medical Center.
The Program Manager is responsible for developing an effective communication system within the designated Rehabilitation Program to assure two-way communication, sharing and integration of ideas.
The program manager is responsible for assisting the Administrator of Rehabilitation Programs, and the Assistant Vice President of Rehabilitation Services in the following Rehabilitation Leadership Team responsibilities:
Establishing the core values and mission that promote seeing the patient served as the focus of the rehabilitation program.
Implementing systems that support communication among all levels of the program at all locations where the rehabilitation program is being provided, as well as supporting the integration of the program into the larger organization and the community.
Implementing operational systems that support a proactive approach and support the value of the measurement of both individual and programmatic outcomes.
Using the information gathered from a variety of internal and external sources to plan, improve performance, and educate, inform, and demonstrate to all stakeholders the value of rehabilitation.
Maintaining financial accountability.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Allied Health field, with a Master's Degree preferred.
Licensure in specialty field in North Carolina. Academic or short-term training in management, supervision and administration is desirable.
Minimum of five years of experience in specialty field required.
Prefer a Licensed PT, OT, or SLP with Rehab experience.
